Call for papers: ‘PNG and the World’ symposium

The 2014 PNG Symposium will take place on 15 September just outside Port Moresby at the Pacific Adventist University’s Koiari Park campus, with a theme of “PNG in the World”. Organised by the Alfred Deakin Research Institute at Deakin University, the symposium is the fourth in an annual series and will look at topics such as PNG’s relationship with Australia and role in the wider region, the management of revenues from the LNG project, human development, the hosting of the 2015 Pacific Games and 2018 APEC Leaders’ Forum, and the use of information and communication technologies.

A call for papers is now open, and registrations will be open soon. For more details, visit the symposium website.
