Australasian Development Economics Workshop call for papers: March 30th deadline

The deadline for papers for the Australasian Development Economics Workshop, to be held this year at Monash University on the 4th and 5th of June, is approaching. High-quality academic papers on all aspects of development economics are welcome, with a particular emphasis on papers with policy insights relating to the Asia-Pacific region.

Submissions will be received in pdf format until 30th March 2015 via the ADEW webpage. Full drafts of papers must be submitted with an abstract not exceeding 300 words. Financial assistance will also be available for a limited number of PhD students.

Keynote speakers at the Workshop will be Oriana Bandiera (London School of Economics) and Martin Ravallion (Georgetown University).

Jonathan Pryke

Jonathan Pryke worked at the Development Policy Centre from 2011, and left in mid-2015 to join the Lowy Institute, where he is now Director of the Pacific Islands Program. He has a Master of Public Policy/Master of Diplomacy from Crawford School of Public Policy and the College of Diplomacy, ANU.
