Aid on your radio

Radio National’s Rear Vision program is currently airing a fascinating two-part radio documentary series looking at the history of aid in Australia and around the world.

The first part, which aired this week and is available to listen to online, looks at the origins of aid and the development of some of its most well-known international institutions such as the OECD DAC and World Bank.

Interviewees include Rosalind Eyben from the University of Essex, Dr Howard White from 3ie and Steven Radelet from Georgetown University.

The second part of the series, which will be broadcast this weekend, looks at the story of Australian aid. It features our very own Robin Davies along with Patrick Kilby from ANU and Julia Newton-Howes from CARE Australia.
