This event is a practitioner conversation on leadership and development practice in PNG-based organisations.
What role can businesses play in creating meaningful social change in PNG? What can we learn from those who have led development initiatives supported by the private sector? Beyond their commercial activities, businesses in PNG have supported foundations and organisations addressing a range of social challenges, including community development and gender equality.
These organisations play an important role in PNG’s development landscape, working with businesses, communities, government and development partners to achieve social outcomes. This event brings together three experienced practitioners to share their experiences of leading organisations at the intersection of business and development in PNG to shed light on what has worked and what needs to work better in PNG.
This event is an initiative with the ANU Pasifika Students Association supported by the Development Policy Centre.
Please note: the event is 4pm – 5.30pm PGT due to daylight savings in Australia.
