Queenslander Gabrielle Persley’s career has seen her work with the world’s leading agricultural research and development agencies, and help set up the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research. She was one of the key players in the establishment of the BecA Hub in Kenya to support biosciences across Africa. On top of this, she runs the Doyle Foundation (named in honour of her late husband and research collaborator Jack).
