As part of the ongoing partnership between Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU, (where Devpolicy sits) and the University of Papua New Guinea’s School of Business and Public Policy (UPNG SBPP), we are advertising positions for two lecturers, one in economics, the other in public policy. These positions are for 18 months or longer (subject to funding) and are supported by the Australian aid program.
Successful candidates will be resourceful, enthusiastic individuals who are adept in cross-cultural settings. They will be employed as ANU faculty but live in Port Moresby and work at UPNG SBPP, where they will teach, research, and engage in outreach and service activities alongside their UPNG colleagues. These positions are open to graduates with a PhD in economics, public policy or a related discipline and will afford opportunities for visits to ANU in Canberra, fieldwork in PNG and involvement at regional conferences.
This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic, highly-motivated team and make a meaningful contribution as both academic and development practitioner. Check out the job ad here. The closing date is 23 April 2017.
