The International Committee of the Red Cross and Australian Red Cross are hosting an event in Canberra on Wednesday 24 September (5:45pm-7pm, Finkel Theatre ANU) to launch a new report and hold a panel discussion on ways to improve the security and delivery of health care in armed conflict and other emergencies.
Titled ‘Health Care in Danger: the way forward’, the speakers at the event include: Dr Bruce Eshaya-Chauvin, Medical Advisor to the Health Care in Danger project in Geneva, Switzerland; Mr Paul McPhun, Executive Director of Médecins Sans Frontières – Australia; and Dr Sarah Miller, a Canberra-based clinical and forensic psychologist with international experience as a delegate for the Movement.
