Werner Cohill

Werner Cohill is the Acting Director of Parliamentary Committees at the National Parliament of Papua New Guinea. He joined the National Parliament in 2007 as an assistant committee secretary with the Parliamentary Committees. Prior to joining the National Parliament he was an Immigration Officer with (then) the Department of Foreign Affairs in 2006.
He graduated with Bachelor of Arts with Honours (First Class) in International Relations from the University of Papua New Guinea in 2005. He completed his honours thesis on Pacific Regionalism – “Pacific Plan and the New Pacific Regionalism, Rethinking Sovereignty, Integration and Development in the Global Era”.
